IPMA level C assessment
The IPMA level C assessment is the practical part of the IPMA level C certification. Your experience (which you have documented) will be tested in a final interview with two assessors. After successfully completing of the course, you are officially IPMA Certified Project Manager.
Eligibility criteria
To take part in the level C assessment you need to have a level level C theoretical certificate. The level C assessment course has to be completed within 18 months after signing up for level C theory. For candidates who have a level C theory certificate with a validity of two years this does not apply: the validity as stated on the certificate is leading in this case. On average, the course will take three months, depending on the interview places available.

Components of the course
The IPMA level C assessment consists of several components. You start with the Experience document, Executive summery report and Self assessment. In a referent survey you will be assessed on your performance. In conclusion, you will be interviewed by two assessors. Read more
Certificate and Register
After concluding the assessment, the assessors will decide if they will nominate you for certification. If you have passed, you will receive the certificate at your email address. With the IPMA level C certificate, you are entitled to put the title ‘Certified Project Manager’ to your name. The IPMA level C certificate is valid for five years. You will need to recertify yourself after five years to maintain this title.
If you obtain a certificate, you will be admitted to the IPMA International Registry. We update the register on a monthly basis.
